AA/AS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

Business Administration is an Associate in Science program that gives students an early start toward a bachelor's degree in business. It can be completed at either the Utica or the Rome campus and is designed for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The stated prerequisites are a pair of secondary-school math courses, or similar, and a year of lab science. Outcomes include preparing for transfer with the right SUNY general education courses, communicating effectively, solving business problems, understanding worldwide business issues and interpreting financial data. Students can complete an internship in business instead of two electives. Graduates have continued at Le Moyne College, St. John Fisher College, Niagara University and many SUNY campuses, and careers include retail, sales, marketing, production management, bookkeeping, insurance and real estate.
