AA/AS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

Business Administration leads to an associate degree and also readies students to move on to a bachelor's program elsewhere. Afterward they can pursue majors including accounting, finance, global business, marketing, personnel management and information systems. Required courses include financial and managerial accounting, economics, management, marketing, business mathematics and business law, alongside general education and electives. Outcomes include analyzing financial statements and applying legal and ethical considerations to business activity. The program meets the state Transfer Agreement Oversight Committee requirements for transfer to Pennsylvania's public state universities, such as Kutztown, Millersville and Slippery Rock. Program-to-program agreements also exist with several private colleges. Sample plans for both full-time and part-time students show how the required accounting, economics and management courses fit together over several semesters.
