The Strategic Educational Leadership program prepares people to lead change in organizations that focus on teaching, training, curriculum design and other learning functions. Graduates learn to plan work, lead teams, coach colleagues, resolve conflicts and communicate with stakeholders.
It is offered in four progressive graduate levels: a certificate, the M.Ed., the Ed.S. and the Ed.D. Each level builds on the one before, giving professionals with a bachelor's or graduate degree an individual route to a leadership credential.
Four themes run through the major: leadership theory and practice, curriculum design and data fluency, diversity and inclusion, and the use of resources in education. Students set personal goals and choose courses with faculty from several disciplines.
It is offered through National College of Education at National Louis University, which has locations in Chicago, Illinois and Tampa, Florida. Prospective students can ask for information, join an event or begin an application from the program page.
