MA/MS in Industrial Engineering

The Master of Science in Industrial Engineering at NYU Tandon prepares graduates for leadership roles in organizations. It pairs a solid academic base with an applied outlook, and instructors bring substantial industry experience to project-based courses. Students work through a foundational core, then shape their studies with electives chosen from the department and across the university. The degree finishes with a capstone in which students tackle a project sponsored by a company. Student clubs connected with INFORMS and IISE, an alumni advisory board and career workshops support professional development. The campus sits in the Brooklyn Tech Triangle, a subway ride from Manhattan, which gives access to many employers for internships and placement.
