AA/AS in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications

This associate of science program trains students in computer networking and security. They learn to set up, configure and maintain network hardware and software, and to protect communications, operations and infrastructure from intrusion. This kind of expertise is used by employers in health care, schools, defense, retail and public agencies. Graduates may work as network administrators, network support technicians or system administrators, or transfer to a bachelor's program in computer and information sciences. Eligible Massachusetts learners can earn credit for prior learning. Northern Essex Community College supports students with tutoring, counseling and academic advising, and the program page points applicants to application guidance, cost information and a suggested course sequence. Applicants with questions can contact the faculty or coordinator listed for the program, and enrolled students can use the full range of campus services as they plan each semester.
