AA/AS in Computer Programming

Graduates of this associate-level track are prepared for jobs as programmers and computer operators, working across the different machines and languages that local employers rely on. The curriculum favors languages common in business settings and keeps attention on how company data is actually handled. Lab time is built into the schedule so learners practice what they study. By the end, students should be able to apply structured programming ideas, set up and troubleshoot desktop hardware and operating systems, develop broader software skills, and write programs and track down errors in them. The opening year covers Microsoft office tools, computer operations, Python, C#, IT security and composition. Later terms add accounting along with electives chosen by the student.
