AA/AS in Criminal Justice and Corrections

The Criminal Justice Technology degree offers a broad study of the justice system. It also gives correctional and law enforcement officers a way to advance their education and careers. Students holding a certificate in policing or corrections can receive credit toward the degree. No professional certification is required to enter. Anyone planning to transfer credits should confirm acceptance with the receiving institution first. Graduates who obtain police or corrections officer certification find openings across the state. The page lists estimated resident and non-resident tuition and a textbook estimate, with the catalog covering the curriculum. Planning ahead helps. Students should read the program page, review the college catalog for the full course list and speak with an advisor before registering, so that each term moves them steadily toward the credential they want.
