AA/AS in Computer Systems Analysis

A career-oriented degree for people who want a job in business-focused information systems, this program centers on software development for business use and leads toward entry-level roles such as web developer, database support specialist or programmer. Students gain hands-on practice with application software, web platforms, programming languages and database design. They write advanced SQL and PL/SQL, build client-server web applications, and learn to troubleshoot systems to fix user problems. Plan on 5 semesters and 63 to 64 credits to finish this degree. Entry calls for a high school diploma or an equivalency credential such as the GED or HiSET. Because tuition is charged by the credit, the total cost depends on how many credits a student takes.
