Cert in Hospitality Administration/Management

This certificate is meant for people who already work in the industry and want to move into management. It builds on their practical knowledge of operations and job duties. Students learn to manage and evaluate the systems that keep hospitality operations running and to combine people, money and equipment effectively. HRM and CUL courses are held at the Worcester Senior Center and the remaining courses on the West Boylston Street campus. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The program is organized over 2 semesters and totals 26 credits at the low end of the stated range. Tuition is listed at $227 per credit for in-state students and $433 per credit for out-of-state and international students, and some programs carry extra program fees.
