BA/BS in Criminal Justice and Corrections

Criminal Justice at Rosemont is a Bachelor of Science offered online through the School of Professional Studies. It gives a base for careers in policing, the courts, corrections and security. The program also exposes students to social justice practice and ethical leadership, preparing them to lead within public service agencies. Students may transfer in up to 45 credits, among them police academy training, earlier college study and professional licenses. Because the courses are online, the degree is practical for working officers and other professionals already serving in public safety. The college also describes a route to two degrees in five or six years. Students gain leadership preparation grounded in ethics, which the college presents as especially valuable at times of social tension.
