MA/MS in Publishing

The Master of Arts in Publishing at Rosemont College is offered fully online through the School of Graduate Studies. It is aimed at people who want to work across the publishing industry, covering editorial work, marketing, promotion and production. The curriculum starts with a set of core courses that survey the whole industry, then lets students pick electives to match their interests, such as editing, sales and promotion, or books for young readers. The program also stresses research, creative thinking and sound decisions on equity and inclusion. Graduates are prepared for varied positions across the book and media business, and the online format lets students study while working. Students work in small classes and have contact with industry professionals. Connected writing workshops run through the Rosemont Writer's Studio, which also serves the college's creative writing community.
