AA/AS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

Students interested in a business degree at a Texas public university can begin here. The pre-major gathers general business principles together with the freshman and sophomore courses that four-year schools expect from transfer students. It incorporates the business curriculum Texas defines as a field of study. That makes it a fit for those heading toward a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science, regardless of which business specialty they later pick. This associate degree is designed to match roughly the first two years of a bachelor's degree. Once transferred, students usually settle on a major, for example accounting, finance, marketing, management or information systems. Instruction is delivered through St. Philip's College in San Antonio, one of the Alamo Colleges.
