PGCert in Communication and Media Studies

The MACT certificate offers graduate students a cross-disciplinary foundation in the history and theory of these fields. It is designed to complement the student's primary degree. The certificate is earned by completing five eligible courses, which equals fifteen credits and may also count toward the home department's degree requirements. Qualifying courses apply humanistic critical methods to topics where media, art, technology and culture overlap. No more than three can come from the home department, so at least two must sit elsewhere, and the set must span three or more departments or programs.
