Overview

The Associate of Science in Computer Science is a transferable program lasting two years. It introduces how information is organized, stored, processed and shared, including the tools, techniques and theory behind those tasks. Students take programming sequences, computer organization, calculus, physics and general education courses across four semesters, for 60 units in all. The recommended courses are chosen so that they partly satisfy the computer science and engineering bachelor's degree at UNR. Graduation requires a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 and completion of the associate science general education list.
