AA/AS in Business/Commerce, General

Coursework covers management, accounting, economics and marketing, and builds teamwork and communication. The degree can lead to transfer into bachelor's-level business study, including the University of Nevada, Reno pathway, or to the college's own applied business management bachelor's degree. A FastTrack version delivers every required course online in five-week blocks, over either one year or two. Otherwise the degree can be finished online, with occasional in-person work. The program is published in the 2026-2027 catalog of Truckee Meadows Community College in Nevada. Students follow the recommended schedule, which sets out the usual order in which courses are taken. Prospective students are encouraged to review the full requirements in the catalog and speak with a college advisor before enrolling.
