BA/BS in Dance

Dance students combine technique, choreography, anatomy and history with the broad liberal arts curriculum at the university. A dance degree can lead to careers in performing, choreography, teaching and related fields such as arts management or technical theater. Students perform in many productions each year and often collaborate with music and theatre arts peers. Faculty include working performers, and visiting artists lead workshops and lectures. Both a BA and a BFA are available. The BFA requires a supplemental application and an audition, by video or in person, and students may begin on conditional status.
