PGCert in Educational/Instructional Media Design

This fully online graduate certificate helps current and future educators use technology to enrich learning in formal and informal settings. Participants build skills as producers of digital media, makers, and designers of learning experiences, preparing for many educational environments. Completion takes one year when a summer course is paired with additional classes during the school year, or the sequence can be stretched across more semesters. Graduates are prepared to build accessible educational media, makerspaces, and blended learning experiences for in-person, remote, and online contexts. Coursework emphasizes practical production skills, reflection on learning design, and collaboration with peers who work in schools, libraries, and community organizations. Participants also consider the accessibility, inclusion, and creativity of the learning spaces they design, applying those ideas to real projects.
