MA/MS in Criminology

The MSCCJ is built for people entering criminal justice jobs and for working professionals who want to rise in careers across the justice system. Coursework covers criminological theory and the workings of the justice system, then adds core instruction in research design and statistics. The goal is to produce graduates ready to lead in the field. The degree sits in the sociology and criminology department. On the program site, the chair talks about links between crime, health and race, and about how students turn theory and policy into practical action. Applicants should check the program's official page for current application steps, requirements and contacts, since details can change from one admission cycle to the next. Students with questions about fit, timing or next steps can contact the department or school directly for guidance.
