MA/MS in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management

UW Bothell's cybersecurity engineering master's degree (MS) joins advanced computer science study with current security technologies and practices. Graduates are readied for the modern security workforce, having practiced ethical penetration testing, cryptography, risk management and wireless and network defense, as well as newer technologies. Students conclude with a culminating experience that may be a project, thesis, coursework or internship. Classes meet in the evening for working professionals, enrollment can be part time or full time, and faculty research opportunities are available. A bridge program helps applicants from non-computer science majors prepare. The National Security Agency has designated the University of Washington a national academic center for cybersecurity teaching and research. A limited scholarship is offered to applicants who meet the autumn 2027 deadline.
