AA/AS in Business/Commerce, General

The Business Administration A.S. prepares students for work in the field or for transfer to a four-year school. It is offered on the Vincennes and Jasper campuses and online, with additional locations in several other states. Courses span accounting, law for business, economics and statistics, giving a solid grounding in business principles. Students can expect hands-on activities such as analyzing annual reports of public companies, examining internal controls at their workplace, completing a capstone simulating a manufacturing business, and attending court cases. The curriculum meets the state's single-pathway transfer agreement in this subject for Indiana public institutions. Graduates may pursue management, finance, marketing and human resources careers. The institution is accredited at the institutional level by the HLC, and prospective students can reach the admissions office by email or phone to ask questions and begin an application. Details on the recommended course plan and any specialized approvals are available through the university's accreditation page and from the admissions team.
