Cert in Carpenters

The Construction Carpenter Assistant certificate of graduation is an intensive one-year program taught on the Vincennes campus. It prepares graduates for jobs as entry level carpenter assistants, concentrating on the basics of building houses, including framing, wiring and trim carpentry. The program page lists where the courses are taught, so applicants should confirm the location and format before they apply. An Apply button on the program page starts an application, and a catalog link there gives the official course listing for the credential. Graduates might be placed ahead in the Construction Technology associate degree at Vincennes. The university's Construction department aims to prepare students for a respected trade. Vincennes University is institutionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and prospective students can reach the admissions office at [email protected] or 812-888-4313 for questions about enrolling.
