MA/MS in Mechanical Engineering

This graduate program builds on a bachelor's-level foundation by combining advanced theory with practical technical experience. Faculty who are active in the field guide students toward careers in robotics, automated systems, energy, factory production and developing new products. Courses are project-based, so students apply ideas right away through interactive classes and work in modern labs. The Mark Engineering Center provides professional-grade technology, and the labs are dedicated to the advanced concepts covered in the curriculum. Each student concludes with a thesis or final project supervised by a faculty expert. Alumni say they still use lessons from class in their engineering jobs, including solving customer problems, supporting field service and designing custom products.
