AA/AS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

Business administration at Harper offers two routes: a transfer degree and a career-focused degree. The Associate in Arts prepares students to complete a bachelor's in fields such as accounting, economics, management, marketing and international business. Students can take classes in the evening through a fast-track format, during the day, or online, which makes it workable alongside a job. Small classes give learners direct contact with instructors who have industry experience. Stackable certificates in areas such as business management and customer success can be applied toward the applied science degree with added coursework. A student business club offers practice in competitions and community projects. Advisors help students choose courses that meet their academic goals and the requirements of the school they plan to attend later. Career profiles on the page describe typical tasks for management-related jobs.
