Founded 2009 following merger of the Etablissement national d'enseignement supérieur agronomique de Dijon (ENESAD - formation d'ingénieurs agronomes) and the Ecole nationale supérieure de biologie appliquée à la nutrition et à l'alimentation (ENSBANA - formation d'ingénieurs en agroaliment).
Founding member the Community of Universities and Institutions - COMUE Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté (Modified decree n° 2015-280 of March 11, 2015) and d’Agreenium. Part of the Institut Agro since 2022 with the Institut Agro Montpellier and the Institut Agro Rennes-Angers.
