Overview
The Ecole supérieure du bois (ESB) is a French higher-education school dedicated to wood science, wood construction and bio-based materials.
It is run as an association under the 1901 law and carries the EESPIG label, which recognises private institutions of general interest. Its headquarters are in Nantes, and teaching also takes place in Lyon and Bordeaux, with small cohorts that keep contact between students and staff close.
