Bachelor in Preschool and Primary Education

This bachelor course prepares students for careers as educators for the preschool and primary years and also opens a route toward research and scholarship in pedagogy. It covers foundational knowledge of the field alongside professional, civic and research skills and practical, applied abilities. The programme runs for three academic years across six semesters, and students need 180 ECTS credits to be granted the bachelor diploma. Intended outcomes include building professional relationships with pupils and colleagues, designing teaching around the curriculum while respecting learner diversity, using assessment methods that meet adopted standards, and creating a supportive emotional and learning climate that follows professional ethics. Graduates can be recruited as preschool or primary teachers in public and private institutions, or as education specialists and members of leadership structures in educational bodies.
