Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering (Part-Time)

Offered on a part-time basis, this associate degree gives students a technician-level grounding in electrical engineering while allowing them to continue working or managing other responsibilities during their studies. Laboratory work runs throughout the course, and students complete a substantial independent project during their final semester. The programme is built to transfer well into further university study for graduates who want to continue in engineering, while also preparing others to move directly into the electrical power industry, covering areas such as power generation, transmission, maintenance, and distribution. Because the qualification is recognised in both the supervisory and technician layers of the electrical industry, part-time graduates finish with options spanning hands-on technical roles as well as more senior oversight positions.
