Overview
The Doctor of Ministry at Acadia Divinity College is a professional doctorate combining advanced biblical, theological, and practical study with a doctoral-level ministry research project. Students complete 30 credit hours of coursework before moving into a supervised 12-credit-hour project stage, with a maximum program length of six years. Two courses must be taken on the Wolfville, Nova Scotia campus at the start of the program; the remaining coursework is completed online through a mix of asynchronous and synchronous formats. Courses run on a rotation of writing-and-research and ministry courses in the summer, with one Bible or Theology course offered in the fall and another in the winter.
