MA/MS in Inclusive Education

The Master of Education in Inclusive Education at Acadia University is aimed at educators who already have some background in inclusive schooling and want to move into leadership roles in the field. The 30-credit-hour program requires three core courses in disability studies, inclusive education and social justice, and research design, combined with either 18 elective hours in a non-thesis route or 9 elective hours alongside thesis work in a thesis route. Electives may be drawn from the School of Education's graduate offerings or approved courses in other departments. The program runs as a part-time cohort, following a model first launched for an equity- and social-justice-focused cohort in 2022.
