This eight-month Finance advanced diploma (post-graduate) program is designed for students who already hold a two-year diploma or university degree and prepares them for customer-facing advisory roles across Canada's financial services industry, including banking, investments, financial planning and insurance. Coursework covers selling investment products, analyzing and evaluating financial products for clients, developing financial plans and strategies, providing investment and risk-management advice, and managing client portfolios, alongside business ethics, communication and teamwork. Through the college's partnerships with the Investment Funds Institute of Canada, the IFSE Institute and the Canadian Securities Institute, courses work toward industry certifications such as licensed mutual fund representative, Certified Financial Planner and licensed life insurance agent.
