Bachelor of Arts in Psychology / Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders (Briercrest–Minot State Partnership)

The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology / Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders is a five-year concurrent-degrees partnership between Briercrest College and Minot State University (MSU). Students complete three years of the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Briercrest, covering 120 credit hours, before transferring to Minot State University for two years to complete a minimum of 54 credit hours toward a Bachelor of Science with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Graduates finish with two degrees: a BA in Psychology from Briercrest and a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Minot State. The Briercrest portion combines psychology coursework with the college's biblical and theological studies core, taught in small, discussion-based classes. The partnership lets students begin their studies in a Christian liberal-arts environment before specializing in communication sciences and disorders, preparing them for graduate study or professional work in speech-language pathology and related fields.
