Horticulture Technician Certificate is a foundation in Horticulture and Crop Science programme offered by Camosun College in Victoria, Canada. The programme runs for 40 weeks, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition is CAD 4,600 per total for local students.
The certificate combines the science, technology and art of plant cultivation, covering a trade that ranges in scale from private gardens to multinational corporations. Training positions graduates for horticulture work across industry, government, educational institutions or private collections.

Admission Requirements: The Horticulture Technician Certificate requires, for English, a C in English 10 or C in ENGL 050 (Camosun also accepts C or higher in Foundations of Math 10 or Pre-Calculus 10 toward the parallel math line, not English). For math, applicants need a C+ in Apprenticeship and Workplace Math 10 or a COM in MATH 038, with C or higher in Foundations of Math 10 or Pre-Calculus 10 accepted as a substitute. Beyond academic prerequisites, Camosun requires a short letter explaining the applicant's reasons for applying and their goals for the course, a booklet of six mounted garden photographs (no more than two per page, covering a small garden scene, a larger landscape, plants, a horticulture workplace, or another creative setting, each captioned to explain the choice), and a completed college survey sheet. No IELTS, TOEFL, or other language-test score is stated on the page.

Limited-enrolment programmes publish only an opening date and can close once the waitlist exceeds the seats on offer. International applicants must submit a complete application by 1 June (Fall), 1 October (Winter) or 1 February (Summer), though later applications are still reviewed while seats remain, making admission effectively rolling for both groups once the early deadlines pass. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
