Gain real-world experience through clinical placements and prepare for careers in hospitals, clinics, and research labs. Graduate with the skills to perform vital lab tests, collect patient samples, and help guide critical medical decisions in fast-paced clinical environments.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: OSSD or equivalent; ENG4C or ENG4U; any Grade 11 Math (C or U); plus one of Grade 11/12 Biology (C or U), Chemistry (C or U), or Physics (C or U). Also satisfied by completing the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees certificate. Ontario college Biotechnology diploma graduates with a 3.3+ GPA, or Ontario health-science BSc graduates, may enter directly into third year. Proof of English proficiency required if English is not your first language.

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through OntarioColleges.ca: for programs starting in Fall 2027 the equal consideration date is 1 February 2027; Canadore states applicants may apply at any time, with the deposit for accepted Winter 2027 offers due 16 November 2026 and term tuition due 30 November 2026. Canadore's own how-to-apply page separately cites a generic, undated "applications open November 1 / competitive consideration date February 1 for Fall term, October 1 for Winter term" notice that names no specific cycle year, so its October 1 figure is not confirmed as the Winter 2027 deadline. International applicants apply through Canadore's international portal and are assessed on a rolling basis, with programs closing early once capacity is reached; no fixed international opening or closing date is published, and payment deadlines appear only on the individual letter of admission.
