Techniques d'administration et de gestion, profil Comptabilité et finance, is a three-year technical Diploma of College Studies (DEC, code 410.G0) offered by Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. The program trains specialists in financial information, developing competencies in accounting, finance, and cost analysis alongside broader business-management knowledge. Students learn to use accounting software, prepare and interpret financial statements, and make strategic decisions in compliance with professional standards. First-year courses are shared across all Techniques d'administration et de gestion profiles, letting students change specialization without extending their studies. The program follows a 'portable DEC' model requiring students to use a personal laptop throughout their coursework, and includes a paid work-study internship option, an on-site tax clinic (Clinique d'impôt) serving the community, and international mobility placements in Switzerland, France, and Corsica. A DEC-BAC pathway is available with Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in Accounting Sciences. Admission is offered for the Fall and Winter terms.
