Nursing: Bachelor of Science Degree - Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (BScN)

Admission Requirements: Minimum 70% average to meet UNBC admission standards: one of Foundations of Mathematics 11, Pre-Calculus 11, or Principles of Math 11 at 70%+, Chemistry 11 at 70%+, one of English Studies 12, English 12, or English First Peoples 12 at 70%+, and Anatomy and Physiology 12 or Biology 12 at 73%+ (within 5 years of admission). Applicants who need to demonstrate English proficiency require IELTS Academic or CELBAN scores meeting BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards. Licensed Practical Nurses may receive up to 15 transfer credit hours if graduated since 1994 from a BCCNM-recognized program. The program runs 2 years at CNC (Prince George or Quesnel) followed by 2 years at UNBC; Fall 2026 applications are closed for Quesnel, and Fall 2027 applications open October 1, 2026.
