The Business Management Certificate helps you gain hands-on business skills which transfer directly to real-world job requirements. The program will provide you with knowledge, skills and abilities in international business, leadership, management, marketing, professional writing and speaking, and computer programming. Upon completion of this certificate, you may find yourself employed as a Junior Marketing Manager, Small Business Manager, Assistant Human Resources Manager, Administrative Assistant, Shift Supervisor, Sales Representative and more.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to the Business Management Certificate requires either Grade 12 (with English 12, English 12: First Peoples, or Communications 12, or equivalent), or mature-student status with the required English and Math demonstrated on CNC's Student Readiness Assessment. Foundations of Math 11, MATH 045, Applications of Math 12, Foundations of Math 12, or equivalent is needed before several required business courses; applicants without it should consult a CNC advisor about upgrading. The programme page does not set its own English-language proficiency scores; non-native English speakers must meet CNC's institution-wide requirement, published on its admission-requirements page: IELTS Academic overall 6.0 (no band below 6.0), TOEFL iBT overall 80 (no section below 17), PTE Academic overall 59 (no section below 55), CAEL overall 60+ (no subtest below 60), CELPIP General with no section below 7, or Duolingo English Test overall 110, scores valid two years. CNC's own programme page currently shows this certificate as cancelled and not accepting new applications, directing prospective students to the Business Administration programme instead.
Application Details
Application Deadline:College of New Caledonia runs first-qualified, first-accepted admissions with no single deadline for most programmes. Domestic and international applicants use the same process, though international students also go through CNC's international application page: applications for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 entry are open now, and applications for Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 entry open on 1 October 2026. Seats are assessed on a rolling basis and close once a programme fills or the term begins; CNC advises applying as soon as applications open, and international applicants typically get an offer letter within four to six weeks. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program) and the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Diploma are exceptions, each carrying a fixed 1 March application-and-documentation deadline. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
