Conestoga requires six Grade 12 U or M courses at a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including English (ENG4U), or Preparatory Communications for Degrees, any Grade 12 U Mathematics or Preparatory Advanced Functions for Degrees (MATH0150), and four further Grade 12 U or M courses; a sound mathematical and English background is considered important to success in the program. Applicants whose prior instruction was not in English must meet Conestoga's institution-wide degree-program English requirement: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (no band under 6.0), TOEFL iBT 88 (no skill under 22), PTE Academic 58, CAEL 70 (no sub-test under 60), or Duolingo 120. Canadian citizens and permanent residents holding transcripts from outside Canada require a course-by-course credential evaluation through a service such as ICAS or WES.
