Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent), including Grade 12 English at the College or University (C/U) level, or an equivalent Mature Student Assessment, GED, or Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) credit; Grade 11 College Preparation Mathematics is recommended but not mandatory. This program is not currently open to international applicants, so no English-proficiency test is specified. Applicants who do not meet these requirements are encouraged to complete Confederation's College Access, General Arts and Science Certificate or Diploma, or Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) program first, after which they become eligible to apply to programs in the Business, Hospitality & Tourism, and Media Arts areas, including this one. Start dates are offered in the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms (September, January, and May), on a full-time or part-time basis, delivered entirely online.
Application Details
Start Date:September, January and May
Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for Fall 2027 entry the application opened 26 September 2026 and the province-wide equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027; Confederation also publishes its own equal-consideration dates of 1 March for Winter-entry programmes and 1 April for Spring-entry programmes. After these dates, files are assessed on a rolling, first-come basis while seats remain, and the college flags Aviation, Health, Engineering Technology and Community Services programmes as filling quickly. International applicants apply via international.ocas.ca; intakes close roughly six weeks before each semester starts and a programme can close earlier once seats fill, so no fixed international closing date is published. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
