Diploma in Developmental Services Worker (DSW)

Admission Requirements: Domestic applicants need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with courses at the College, University, University/College or Open level, including Grade 12 English (C/U), or an equivalent route such as the Mature Student Assessment, the Canadian Adult Education Credential/GED completed before May 2024, or Academic and Career Entrance credits. International applicants need an equivalent high school diploma and Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5. All students must complete Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, finish Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within their first semester, keep immunizations and a TB skin test current, be physically able to lift or move up to 22 kg, and hold a Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening dated within three months of the January field placement.
