Diploma in Developmental Services Worker - Accelerated

Admission Requirements: This accelerated Ontario College Diploma has limited seats and admits only applicants who already hold a degree or diploma from an accredited university or college in a related discipline. International applicants must instead hold a four-year degree from an accredited university or college in a healthcare-related field such as Nursing or Social Work, with no more than six backlogs or failures, plus Academic IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0. As with the standard diploma, all students must complete Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, finish Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within the first semester, keep immunizations and a TB skin test current, be able to lift or move up to 22 kg, and hold a Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening dated within three months of the January field placement.
