Diploma in Onajigawin Indigenous Services

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent), including Grade 12 English at the College or University (C/U) level, or an equivalent Mature Student Assessment, GED, or Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) credit. International applicants need an equivalent high-school/senior-secondary diploma with notarized, translated transcripts, and must meet the program's English Language Proficiency requirement of Academic IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5. Before starting field placements, students must obtain a Criminal Record Check (a Vulnerable Sector Check may also be required by some placement agencies), a Standard First Aid/Infant & Child CPR certificate, and proof of immunization plus a current TB skin test, all at the student's own cost. Applicants who do not meet the entrance requirements are encouraged to complete the College Access, General Arts and Science Certificate or Diploma, or Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) program, which leads to eligibility for Community Services programs including this one.
