Diploma in Onajigawin Indigenous Services - Accelerated

Admission Requirements: This accelerated stream of the Onajigawin Indigenous Services diploma offers a limited number of seats each year to applicants who already hold a degree or diploma from an accredited university or college in a related discipline, in place of the standard Ontario Secondary School Diploma route. Before starting field placements, students must obtain a Criminal Record Check (a Vulnerable Sector Check may also be required by some placement agencies), a Standard First Aid/Infant & Child CPR certificate, and proof of immunization plus a current TB skin test, all at the student's own cost. International applicants need an equivalent high-school/senior-secondary diploma with notarized, translated transcripts, and must meet the program's English Language Proficiency requirement of Academic IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5. Applicants who do not qualify for the accelerated intake are directed to the standard two-year diploma program.
