Requirements
Admission Requirements: Domestic applicants need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with courses at the College, University, University/College or Open level, including Grade 12 English (C/U), or an accepted alternative such as the Mature Student Assessment, the Canadian Adult Education Credential/GED (before May 2024), or Academic and Career Entrance credits. Confederation also requires Grade 11 or 12 Biology and Chemistry at the College or University Preparation level, both with a minimum final grade of 70%. International applicants need an equivalent high school diploma with the same Biology and Chemistry credits at 70% or higher, plus Academic IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0 and speaking at 6.5. All students must hold current CPR (BLS/HCP) and First Aid certification with a hands-on component, complete immunization and TB-screening requirements including mandatory Hepatitis B vaccination and blood serology testing, purchase a new dental instrument kit, and pass a Level 2 Criminal Reference Check before clinical placement in years two and three.
