Overview
Kinesiology is offered as a Bachelor of Science, with an Honours option, at Dalhousie's Halifax campus, starting each September. Admission Requirements: Direct entry from a completed Grade 12 requires a minimum overall average of 75 percent across the required subjects: Academic English 12 at a minimum of 70 percent, Academic Math 12 at a minimum of 70 percent, and three further academic Grade 12 subjects, with Biology, Chemistry or Physics recommended as preparation for the programme. Admission is competitive and meeting the minimum average does not guarantee a place. International applicants are assessed on the same subject list through Dalhousie's equivalency tables and must also satisfy the university's English-language requirement unless exempt, for example IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, or TOEFL iBT 90 overall with no section below 20. The programme admits students for the September intake only.
