Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Art

The Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Art is a four-year, 120-credit-hour undergraduate program at First Nations University of Canada centred on the fine arts traditions of Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Students complete studio-based coursework and receive hands-on instruction from faculty, developing technical skills across visual art media alongside communication, writing, research, and analytical thinking skills. The program situates studio practice within the history and continuing significance Indigenous fine arts have held across Indigenous cultures for millennia. It is offered at FNUniv's Regina campus over the standard four-year sequence. Graduates leave with a portfolio of studio work and a Bachelor of Arts credential that prepares them for further study or careers in the visual arts, arts administration, gallery and museum work, or related creative fields.
