About Fleming CollegeFleming College respectfully acknowledges that we are situated on Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg lands and territory. Located in the heart of Central Ontario, Fleming College has campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg and Haliburton. Named for famous Canadian inventor and engineer Sir Sandford Fleming, the college features more than 100 full-time programs in Arts and Heritage, Business, Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, General Arts and Sciences, Health and Wellness, Justice and Community Development, Skilled Trades and Technology, and Continuing Education. Fleming College has more than 6,800 full-time and 10,000 part-time students, and 80,000 alumni.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including Grade 12 College (C) English, with Grade 12 C accepted where a Grade 11 C requirement is listed and University (U)/Mature (M) courses accepted where College level is specified; applicants 19 or older without an OSSD may write the Skillsmarker assessment, with additional testing or upgrading possibly required. The programme page states no English-proficiency test score; Fleming College's institution-wide tier for diploma and certificate programs applies: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5), TOEFL iBT 80, Duolingo 105, or PTE Academic 46. International applicants submit an equivalent secondary credential, certified with notarized English translations where needed, per Fleming's general admission requirements. The next intake is in September, at Haliburton Campus.

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for full-time programmes starting in the 2027 fall intake the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, and Fleming also runs a January start; applications received after 1 February are processed first-come, first-served until programmes are full. International applicants apply via the OCAS International Application Service to the September, January or May intake and face no fixed deadline; Fleming instead recommends applying between six weeks and five months before the intended start depending on home country, and processes files on a rolling basis with offers typically issued within 5-10 business days. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
