Computer Systems Technician - Cloud Technologies is a two-year Ontario College Diploma with co-op, delivered through a hybrid mix of online and in-person instruction at Georgian College's Barrie campus. Students focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, and computer networking, alongside operating systems, system administration, and modern security protocols, building the practical skills needed to deploy and manage cloud-based computing environments. The co-op component gives students paid, program-related work experience that reinforces classroom and lab learning in a live workplace setting. Students are required to bring a personal notebook computer meeting program-specified hardware requirements. Graduates are prepared for roles supporting cloud infrastructure, networks, and systems administration in organizations adopting cloud technologies.
