Graduate Certificate in Leadership Studies

The Graduate Certificate in Leadership Studies is an 18-credit program at Horizon College & Seminary providing focused preparation in leadership studies at the graduate level. The program consists of six courses: four electives in leadership studies (12 credits) and two open electives (6 credits), giving students flexibility to tailor the credential toward their ministry, organizational, or academic goals. Coursework examines leadership theory and practice within a graduate theological context, preparing students to lead in church, non-profit, or ministry settings. Credits earned in the certificate can subsequently be applied toward a graduate degree at Horizon College & Seminary, making it a flexible entry point into further graduate study. Students choose their leadership and open electives from across the seminary's graduate course offerings. The program is offered from the seminary's Saskatoon, Saskatchewan campus.
