Certificate in Christian Leadership

An 8-month, full-time-equivalent certificate in which students explore and become grounded in the Christian faith while developing foundational leadership skills. The curriculum covers Christian worldview, biblical literacy, leadership foundations, and life skills, and grants 6 transferable credits toward programs at the University of Saskatchewan. It may also serve as the first year of a longer, multi-year program at Horizon College. Coursework is offered across Fall, Winter, and Spring terms through a mix of formats. The program suits students who want to explore their faith and calling before committing to a longer credential, as well as those seeking a stand-alone certificate that combines spiritual formation with introductory leadership training and university-transferable credit. The certificate is offered through Horizon College and combines classroom instruction with the institution's broader emphasis on spiritual formation and Christian character.
