Overview
This four-year honours degree, offered by Humber Polytechnic's Faculty of Health & Life Sciences at the North campus, prepares students for careers supporting workplace and organizational health and wellness. The multidisciplinary curriculum draws on leadership, mental and physical health, business and communication, and knowledge translation, taught in bioscience laboratories and classrooms and built around collaborative, team-based learning applied to real-world wellness scenarios. Students develop skills to design and deliver proactive and responsive wellness services for private and public organizations, supported by interprofessional education courses shared with other Faculty of Health & Life Sciences programs. In-person classes are scheduled on two days a week, giving students more flexibility to manage academic, personal and professional commitments alongside their studies. The program suits students aiming for roles in occupational health and wellness, human performance or related postgraduate study.

Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, including Grade 12 English (ENG4U or equivalent) at a minimum of 65 per cent, five further Grade 12 U or M courses, and an overall minimum admission average of 65 per cent; mature-student and college/university-transfer routes are also accepted. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Humber's English Language Proficiency Policy, which for this Bachelor's degree sets IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 84 (minimum 21 per skill), PTE Academic 58-60, Duolingo English Test 115+, or CAEL overall 60 with a Writing score of 60. Canadian citizens or permanent residents with international education need an ICAS evaluation for secondary schooling or a WES course-by-course evaluation for post-secondary study.
